Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has expressed deep concern at the present imbroglio in the state, which it said has brought about political infightings and instability affecting the governance system in the state. In a press release, NBCC said at such a challenging time, when the state was going through severe weather monsoon, the legislators should graciously heed to the welfare and grievances of the public and work towards remedial measures from the present crisis. “Certainly there are more serious matter to attain to than engaging in self defeating and demeaning newspaper wars, attack and counter attack and calling names in the print media,” NBCC said.
The Council “in the name of God” appealed to the responsible legislators to exhibit their political maturity by returning to the reasoning table and tackle the differences in an honourable and amicable manner.
