Rejecting Anti-Corruption & Crime Investigation Front (ACCIF) state unit’s claim that its office was located at Padumpukhuri, H/no.14, the Padumpukhuri Village Council (PVC) on Sunday clarified that there was no such office under its jurisdiction. In a statement, PVC chairman Vitoka Katty and secretary Sanjay Mech said that the council conducted a thorough verification but found that there was no such office functioning at the mentioned address. In this regard, PVC warned of stern action against anyone found trying to mislead or bring bad name to the village. On Saturday, ACCIF state unit president, Akhei Achumi had welcomed anyone to visit its office (H/no. 14, Padumpukhuri) to know more about its activities.
