Sainik School Punglwa organises ‘Hindi Pakhwara’

With the objective to develop and refine linguistic skills of the cadets, Sainik School Punglwa observed its annual co-curricular activities “Hindi Pakhwara” (Hindi Fortnight). 
According to a release by Sainik School Punglwa, “Hindi Pakhwara” which began on September 1 and concluded on September 14, saw various competitions and activities such as – general knowledge test and essay writing for classes VI and VII and essay writing, quiz and debate competitions for classes VIII to X.  The release stated that the main attraction of the event was the debate competition for cadets of class IX and X on the topic “entrance of girls’ cadet in defence academies is a preparation for bright future”. 
Viveknanda Sagapam of Saramati House and Passang Joshua of Tizu House secured first positions in ‘for’ and ‘against’ respectively in the debate competition. 
In the quiz competition, Ravi Kumar and Ujjwal of Saramati House secured the first position while Kohang Guing and Aditya Kumar bagged the second positions.   
Saramati house emerged as the champion of the “Hindi Pakhwara” while Tizu house was secured the second position and Japfu House and Patkai House shared the third position.
The “Hindi Pakhwara” (Hindi Fortnight) concluded with the handing of prizes by the Sainik School Punglwa principal to the winners of various competitions on September 14.
