Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) would be hosting the 48th national convention of the Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM) from October 19 to 22 under the theme, “fullness in Christ”, wherein a total of 900 delegates (700 from outside Nagaland, 100 from NBCC affiliated associations and 100 from Nagaland IEM supporters) are expected to attend the convention.
In a press note by pastor DABA, Rev. Dr. N. Tzüdir informed that, general secretary NBCC, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho; general secretary IEM, Rev. Dr. Raja Singh Elias; and HoD Church Ministries, IEM, Bro. Jenny Christopher would be speaking at the convention with OMF International director East Asia South, Rev. Dr. Sydney Henry leading the Bible study. Director NMM, Rev. Andrew Semp and secretary NEI, EFI, Rev. Halli Likha Ama would also lead the congregation in devotion.
Disciple Bible College, Khuda Baptist Church, DABA Youth Choir, Dimapur Lotha Baptist Church and DABA Duncan Choir would be sitting their choirs at the Convention. Medziphema Town Ao Baptist Church, Kuki Baptist Church Nagarjan, Mountain Music Academy Choir, Sangtam Baptist Church Dimapur, Khiamniugan Baptist Church Dimapur and Dimapur Phom Baptist Church Choir would also be presenting special numbers where Disciple Bible College and Eastern Bible College would be presenting the opening and closing ceremonies respectively.
The convention would also feature cultural programme on October 21, 2 p.m. which would be presented by Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church, Chang Baptist Church Dimapur, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chakhesang Baptist Church Dimapur, Rengma Baptist Church Padumpukhuri and many more.
