District Health Society (DHS), Mon organised a farewell programme for its retiring Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr U. K. Konyak, who after 35 years of service, bade farewell to DHS, Mon on October 20.
In his farewell speech, Dr U. K. Konyak, shared his experiences and the strong bond that he had with all the employees and thanked and wished every head of the department luck for the coming years.
Dr U. K. Konyak also mentioned that he was retiring as CMO but could be approached for any help when required.
The programme chaired by Bonnie Konyak began with the invocation prayer by Y P David chaplain DH Mon, welcome address by deputy CMO, Dr Akaba followed by presentation. District Hospital, CMO establishment, doctors, nurses, NHM, Konyak doctors also gave short speeches.
