Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit launched its first day booth- level workers training/meeting at Noksen and Longkhim-Chare mandals, Tuensang district on December 11 under the supervision of secretary organisation, Ananta Mishra.
A press release by media cell BJP Nagaland stated that the training was the first of its kind for the party in the state. Addressing a public gathering of more than 500 people during the second session, convener BJP media cell, K. James Vizo said that BJP’s priority was to deliver development to all, irrespective of tribes or sex. 
Lamenting at the absence of stability and development in the state, he further said that BJP was the only party that could deliver stability and good governance with development.
Media co-convener, Yanghose Sangtam said that BJP government under Prime Minister, Narender Modi has launched more than 130 central schemes mainly focussing on the downtrodden section of people. BJP state secretary, Lima Onen also addressed the gathering.
The training at Noksen Mandal was led by K. James Vizo and co-convenor, Yanghose Sangtam, while the training at Longkhim-Chare mandals were led by general secretary, Jaangsillung, secretary organisation, Ananta Mishar and spokesman, Band. The meeting was chaired by district BJP president; 230 local committee and mandal workers attended the booth-level workers at Noksen, while 130 members attended the programme at Longkhim-Chare.
