Organisations condemn various crimes

Bharatiya Janata Party (Yuva Morcha) (BJPYM) Zunheboto district has strongly condemned the January 8 incident wherein it claimed that 32 Assam Rifles had physically assaulted BJPYM secretary Zunheboto district, Vikiye Sumi, “without reason and rhymes”.
In a condemnation note, BJPYM Zunheboto district president, Katoho Yeptho and convenor media cell, Ikiho Yeptho stated that, on the night of January 8 at around 10:30 p.m. while Vikiye Sumi was with his friends at his residence at Thilixu village block-I, 32 Assam Rifles “suddenly came and beat the innocent victim without any reason or proof”.  BJPYM termed the incident as “inhuman and a serious matter” and further urged all concerned to maintain peace in the society.
NRPO: Nyiro Range Public Organisation (NRPO) while expressing shock has vehemently condemned the barbaric and heinous crime committed by Vincent Bichamo Kikon of Lakhuti village under Wokha district who allegedly beat his wife Khonjani Ngullie of Longla village to death on January 10. In a condemnation note, NRPO president, L. Yantsowa Lotha and general secretary, Janponthung Ngullie, has urged the law enforcing authorities to take the matter seriously and award befitting punishment to the culprit as per the law of the land.
NRPO has further conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayer to the departed soul to rest in peace.
DNNRE: Dimapur Nkonjan Nyiro Range Ekhung (DNNRE) chairman, Chiporao Ngullie and general secretary, Sacheo Ezung has termed the January 10 incident as a horrific act.
Condemning the act, DNNRE has appealed all the like-minded citizens to strongly condemn such heinous crime in this modern society. It has also urged the law enforcing agencies to take the matter seriously and book the culprit under non-bailable term as per the law of the land.
Furrther, DNNRE prayed to Almighty God to give comfort and courage to the bereaved family members of late Khonjani Ngullie to overcome the saddest moment and further prayed that the departed soul would rest in eternal peace.
ZMBD: Zeme Mipui Bau Dimapur (ZMBD) has vehemently condemned the devilish act of one Heleulungbe who took cudgels against his own wife, late Namdeuyile and pulverized her torso beyond recognition on January 10. A condemnation issued by president ZMBD, Aniamle and secretary, Azuale stated that the act itself was too barbaric and inhuman where every right thinking citizen must condemn the act to avert recurrence of such incident in the modern society. ZMBD appealed the concern authority that the quantum of punishment should not be compromised at any cost and that justice must be delivered. It further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and wished the departed soul rest in peace.
NWK: Nzaunalui Welfare Kohima (NWK) has condemned in the strongest term the barbaric murder of late Namdeuyile daughter Paurangaing of Nchan village under Peren district on January 10, at Heningkunglwa village by her own husband Heleulungbe Lungalang.
Condemning the act, NWK chairman, Ichulung, has termed the incident as “savage” and urged upon the law enforcement agencies to award a befitting punishment as per the law of the land. NWK has further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
WTLE: Wokha Town Lakhuti Ekhung (WTLE) has strongly condemned the alleged murder of Khonzani, daughter of Nzanbemo Ngullie of Longla Village by her husband Vincent Pichamo Kikon on January 10, at her residence in Dimapur. Condemning the murder as barbaric and heinous WTLE chairman, Chipo Yanthan and general secretary, Benjamin Ngullie, has urged the law enforcing agencies to book the culprit and award stringent punishment as per the law. Ekhung has further extended deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
HVC and HVWS: Heningkunglwa Village Council (HVC) and Heningkunglwa Village Women Society (HVWS) have strongly condemned the barbaric and heinous crime committed by one Nleilang Lungalang who had beaten his wife late Namdeuyile to death.
A condemnation note jointly appended by chairman HVC, Kangzang Iheilung, secretary, Heiding, head GB, Kwetlungying, and president HVWS, Dielievinuo Meru, stated that it has ex-communicated Lungtwabuile, mother of the culprit Nleilang Lungalang along with his three children for a period of seven years w.e.f. January 11 from the village as per customary law.
HVC and HVWS strongly appealed the law enforcing authority to take the matter seriously and award non-bailable punishment to the culprit. It also appealed the judicial authority to award rigorous life imprisonment to the culprit as per law according to his inhuman act of crime committed.
Further, it has conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and relatives and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
