Nagaland Governor, P. B Acharya congratulated Lentila Ao Thakkar and Piyong Temjen Jamir on bring conferred the Padma Shri Award, 2018. The Padma Shri was awarded to Lentila Ao Thakkar for her contributions to society, and to Piyong Temjen Jamir, for his contribution in the field of literature. According to a press release from PRO to Governor, Acharya expressed hope that the prestigious award will encourage the recipients to work harder and to put in their maximum efforts for the welfare of the people.
