State BJP on Sunday announced that its two-day Swachh Bharat programme with its national Swachh Bharat convener Yashwant Singh Darbar has been rescheduled.
According to a press release issued by party’s State general secretary, Jaangsillung Gonmei, the tour programme of Darbar, who will be on a two-day visit to Nagaland from Monday, has been rescheduled on the first day due to unavoidable circumstances.
Consequently, the inauguration function of the State’s Swachh Bharat Office at NST Colony, near City Tower, Dimapur has been rescheduled and will now be held at 12 noon and not at 3 pm as earlier informed. Subsequently, Darbar’s meeting with State office bearers, State frontals and district Swachh Bharat committees at Hotel Saramati will be held at 1 pm.
Similarly, the venue of the interactive meeting with party workers, government officials and NGOs at 1.30 pm Tuesday, after the morning’s Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive, has also been changed to Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. All the attendees have been requested to note the changes accordingly.
Meanwhile, Gonmei has urged all party workers and supporters to take part in the Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive programme on Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. at two venues– Dimapur Civil Hospital and Dimapur Commerce college area. Gonmei also asked all representatives of district Swachh Bharat committees and State office bearers to participate in and supervise the programme.
