As per the directive of the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) administrator, Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has directed all the khel chairmen and GBs under Notun Bosti to not issue No Objection Certificate (NOC), Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) etc. without production of Residential Sanitary Tax (RST) payment receipt.
In a press release issued by NBCD chairman, E. Jon Ezung and secretary, Kavito Ayemi, the council urged all the residents of Notun Bosti to pay RST Tax with effect from August 2017, till date and it requested all to cooperate with the council for smooth functioning of the council administration.
The council also directed residents of Notun Bosti, who are residing near the Lengri river area to properly maintain septic latrine bunker or tank as early as possible to not allow biodegradables and non-biodegradables to go directly into the river, which, it said, is unhygienic and hazardous for health. The council further requested the neighbouring colonies and GBs to inform to their colony public, living near Lengri river side both from Nagaland and Assam to follow the same practice.
