NDPP, 2 Dimapur II A/C unit office held an inaugural programme for its unit office in Duncan Basti, Dimapur, on May 11 at the office premises.
A press release from NDPP Dimapur II said that, at the programme, short speeches were delivered by president minority wing, Suresh Paira, Dimapur region president, Kughato S. Aye, central secretary, Akokla and vice president central, Lipok Pongen.
Former NDPP candidate, Supu Jamir said that the office would not only work for the party but for Dimapurians as well. He challenged party workers to work for the betterment of Dimapur and build foundations for the cause of good at the grassroot level. He asked them to prepare for the Lok Sabha by-election. He also said that he would try to hold coordination meetings with various departments for the betterment and welfare of Dimapur.
The programme was chaired by secretary, David Jami and the invocation was said by the unit president, Aosanen. The office was dedicated by associate pastor, Senjem Baptist Church, Thunglanbemo Ezung. Working president Vamoni Ezung proposed the vote of thanks followed by a mass prayer and refreshments.
