
NPF president, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has expressed grief and pain over the demise of Kevimedo Rutsa, who passed away in Kohima on June 15.
In a condolence message, the NPF president said late Kevimedo, who hailed from P Khel Kohima village, was a man of principles who always stood for the truth and worked for the welfare of his fellow men.
Liezietsu recalled that since youth, he tirelessly worked for the welfare of the people and he was also a staunch regionalist in politics. “He was a well-known fatherly figure and many particularly the Tenyimi look upon him as a mentor,” Liezietsu said.
In his demise, Dr. Shürho said, Kohima village, Tenyimi and the Nagas had lost a great leader.
Conveying heartfelt condolences to all his children and loved ones, Liezietsu also conveyed prayers for their solace and comfort and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
