KQWS organizes leadership trg

The Kipi Qomi Welfare Society (KQWS), a non-profit NGO based in Dimapur with its branch office at Zunheboto, organized a leadership development training program for minority women (non-residential) at Atoizu town jubilee hall on June 16, sponsored by the ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, under the scheme “Nai Roshni”. 
A press release issued by KQWS chairman organizing committee, Henito Sema stated that resource person, Tozheli Awomi senior nurse PHC Atoizu town spoke on the topic “health and hygiene”. She strongly advocated for the idea that health of women determined the asset of a nation and that a woman should always keep herself healthy to shoulder any eventuality that may arise especially at home. While encouraging young mothers to immunize their children, she also said that every woman should make use of the freely available government schemes like NHM.
The training programme was chaired by Kavito Achumi, prayer said by Khevikali Achumi, youth associate pastor of Atoizu Town Baptist Church (Nito Mount) and the closing prayer was said by Nighatoli Chishi, associate pastor women, Atoizu Town Baptist Church (SBAK Aizuto). The programme was attended by around 40 women from Atoizu town and its surrounding villages.
