The Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association (WDVCCA) held a meeting of its executive council on June 15. Lotha Hoho, Lotha Students’ Union, ACAUT Wokha unit, ACVA Wokha unit and GBs Association attended the meeting.
A press release from Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association president, Myingthungo Odyuo and joint secretary, Thungchamo stated that during the meeting, the executive council resolved to affirm the Naga common resolution of “one government, one tax” adopted on October 31, 2013.
It also resolved that in case of any tax related harassment of any of its members, the association would view it seriously and the Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association would withdraw cooperation and support from the erring organization.
In this regard, all concerned have been directed to comply with the resolutions.
