The monthly Departmental Coordination Meeting of Bhandari sub-division was held on July 4, at the ADC’s Conference Hall, Bhandari. Chairing the meeting, ADC, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang welcomed the officers who were recently transferred to the sub division. According to DIPR, after reviewing the last meeting’s minutes, the house discussed and approved the construction of a Traffic Island at the Bhandari Town Junction, to help ensure safety of both public and vehicular movements since the road remains mostly busy. It was further decided that the construction would be carried out after the road widening activities were done. ADC reminded the officers to obtain, renew and maintain land pattas of office sites to ensure protection of demarcated boundaries and to prevent land encroachment activities. He also told the officers to see that their offices were not neglected by their staff and make sure it functions all year round to serve the interests of the people. He also reminded the officers about the DPDB meeting which will be held on July 9 at Bhandari.
