Kohima police Thursday issued traffic advisory after a stretch of NH-29 at Kiruphema was completely cut off due to incessant rain for the last few days.
According to Kohima police PRO, only light vehicles would be allowed to proceed towards Dimapur from Kohima via Sechü (Zubza)- Kiruphema road.
PRO stated that all light vehicles from Dimapur proceeding towards Kohima and beyond would be diverted towards Peducha-Tsiesema road. Further, PRO informed that no vehicle coming from Dimapur would be allowed towards Kohima via Sechü (Zubza) road.
Meanwhile, PRO informed that plying of all heavy vehicles on NH 29 to and fro Kohima and Dimapur would be restricted till the cut-off stretch was restored.
