
Kohima Law College (KLC) conducted a “Know Your Rights & Entitlements Awareness Campaign” at the college auditorium of Model Christian College, Kohima on July 25.
A press release from KLC media cell stated that, earlier on July 13, Kohima Law College had officially launched this campaign to be conducted in colleges and the society, to spread education and alert students and citizens about their rights and entitlements.
The resource persons on July 25 were L. Lawrence Beio, Toino Awomi, B. Yemlong Chang, Aphrenuo Sorhie, Benison V. Shohe & Amhakho Jua and they presented several topics. The professor-in-charge of KLC, Kezhokhoto Savi who is also the president of Nagaland Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (NVCO) appealed to every citizen to extend cooperation and support to the Food Safety staff when they inspect food to find the items that were harmful to the human body.
Earlier the principal of Model Christian College received the resource persons and the program was led by Tsujen Easter of B.Sc 5th semester. A special number, “Listen to our heart,” was presented by the college students.
