Department of Agriculture Pughoboto conducted a training program on Vermi-composting with four SHGs at Pughoboto town under Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) RKVY 2017-18 on July 20. DIPR reports that the subject matter of vermi-composting training was explained by the agriculture officer, Viketuno Chusi. SDAO Pughoboto, Myanthung Patton also demonstrated how to create a mixture of decomposing vegetables or food waste and improve the soil and plants due to the process using various species of worms. He also distributed vermibeds to each SHG.
