Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president K. Therie has criticised chief minister Neiphiu Rio and NLA speaker Vikho-o Yhoshü for deputing state BJP president, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer to represent the legislators at the All India Christian Federation (AICF). The event is organized by All Party Parliamentarians Conference on Christians From Scheduled Caste Background at New Delhi
In his statement Therie described the decision to send a BJP member as “a deliberate act” to embarrass and symbolically insult the Naga society 95% of who are Christians.
Therie said decision will also be an unforgettable act of adding salt to injuries.
