Dear loving Naga brothers, ever since our history started, our forefathers loved our people and land so much that they had sacrificed their lives defending our land and people from the enemies who came to conquer us. In defence, they had sacrificed 100,000 lives and 3432 villages were burnt down by our enemies the Indians. The first generations were all dead. The deaths will not come to justify their rights. Their stand was freedom and nothing less. NNC’s stand was right before man and even before the Lord. The British Deputy Commissioner, C.R Pawsey founded the NNC and told the Nagas to stand strong on these three letters so that our history will be good. He founded the NNC in 1946 and the next year 1947 he went back to his homeland. In 1947 during the function of hoisting the first Naga National Flag, American Missionary George Supply prayed for the Naga National Flag. The acceptance of his prayer was revealed in 1995 in a vision to Mrs Khazhüü a residence of Pfutsero Town. The British and the Americans came and lived in the Naga Hills for a very long time before they left. So they know very well about the Nagas and they have been supporting the cause of the Nagas. Even China carried our burdens by helping in every way possible. These three great nations of the World supported the cause of the Naga Nation. Pakistan government was the first to support the Nagas. The Nations of the world saw the sufferings of the Nagas under the Indian Nation and supported the cause of the Nagas. In 2008, the UNO passed a resolution that the Nagas are a separate Nation and have separate territorial boundaries.
