Former Nagaland Lok Sabha MP, W. Wangyuh Konyak on Monday expressed shock on learning of the demise of former Lok Sabha Speaker, Somnath Chatterjee.
Recalling his tenure as an MP, when Chatterjee was the speaker, Wangyuh said he was a man of integrity who could conduct the House smoothly and provide sufficient time to smaller parties. In his demise, Wangyuh said, the country has lost a good orator/administrator. He further conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
