KMC directs shops/business establishments: Administrator Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Elizabeth Ngully has informed that as per the directive of Kohima deputy commissioner and in view of Independence Day celebration, all the shops/establishments under KMC have been directed to remain closed from 7 am till the function is over.
DPDB Kohima meeting: DC & vice chairman, DPDB Kohima,Rajesh Soundararajan has informed all the members of the Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) that meeting for the month of August would be held on August 18, 10 am at DC conference hall, Kohima. All the concerned members have been informed to attend the meeting positively.
DPDB meeting Mon: Deputy commissioner, Mon, Thavaseelan K, has informed that a special meeting of Mon District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) would be held on August 21, 11 am at conference hall of DC Mon. The meeting will have a special session for scrutiny and recommendation of the projected schemes/projects under LADP 2018-19 for Mon district. All the DPDB members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.

GPRN/NSCN terminates service: The office of the general staff officer GSO-1 GPRN/NSCN has terminated the service of ‘L/corpl’ Mankai, son of Lemkai, Totok village of Konyak region, bearing A/No. 19125 from active service of the GPRN.NSCN, Naga army. The GPRN/NSCN through its MIP informed that termination of service was for breaching the azha of the nation by committing anti-national activities and that the order comes with immediate effect.
GBsUD informs: GBs Union Dimapur (GBsUD) has informed all members within Dimapur Sadar area to assemble at DDSC stadium, 8 am with uniform, to celebrate 72nd Independence Day. Union informed that all GBs attendance will be recorded.
Physical verification for both life & pensioners: Sub treasury officer (STO), Chozuba N Zumchio Lotha has informed that there would be physical verification for both life and family pensioners from August 28 to 30. All pensioners drawing their monthly pension under STO Chozuba have been requested to attend for verification on the given date. It also requested president Pensioners Association Chozuba sub-division to send information to all pensioners under their jurisdiction.
