The Tuensang Village Students’ Union (TVSU) in collaboration with district administration Tuensang, principal, staff and students’ organised a social work on August 11, at Government Polytechnic campus.
A press release from TVSU president Imlong Zanchu stated that cleaning was done on the newly planted tree saplings. TVSU also held a meeting with the principal and faculty as well as with the students.
TVSU stated that infrastructure of the institute was good since it was a newly opened institute but there was need for construction of boundary fencing. TVSU also pointed out that electricity installation was half done, while water supply, auditorium, playground, hostel (boys/ girls), chapel hall etc were needed at the earliest.
TVSU also thanked minister of Higher & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer and president BJP Nagaland for immediate intervention in establishing such kind of institute in the far flung area.
