Kohima District Organic Farmer Producer Organization (KDOFPO) in collaboration with Kohima District Agri Office (KDAO) organized an organic bazaar at High School junction Wednesday, in commemoration of the 72nd Independence Day celebration.
Joint director DAO informed Nagaland Post that the Bazar was organized under the mission organic value chain development for North Eastern Region to promote organic products and the farmers in the district. More than 20 farmers displayed their organic fruits, vegetables, juice and spices at the baazar. He also informed that under the mission organic value chain development for North Eastern Region, 946 farmers have taken up farming in 900 hectars of land.
