The Naga Club held a meeting at the Red Cross Building on August 17 with nominated tribal representatives.

A press release by secretary, K N Mhonthung Lotha stated that in its meeting, the house first unanimously regularized the executive body that existed as an ad-hoc body since November 11, 2017, by a voice vote. The house also constituted the organizing committee for the centenary celebration with Medoselhou Keretsü as the convenor and tentatively decided that Naga Club Centenary will be observed on November 24.

The house also observed a minute’s silence to pay homage to “one of the tallest Indian leaders, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee” who passed away on August 16, the release added.
