CNC appeals prayer for Kerala: Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has appealed to all NSCN members and people in Nagaland to hold unison prayer on August 26 for the people of Kerala, facing untold miseries due to devastating rain and floods. In a press release CNC president, Eustar Chishi and general secretary, Rev. Seksim Kasar have asked all to remember the following prayer points during their prayers: For the consolation of the people who lost their dear ones; people who are rendered homeless; proper resettlement of the affected people; for the rescue and relieve workers; for the rulers of Kerala and India to be able to tackle the crisis properly; for the possible outbreak of diseases after the flood and for the health and medical workers.
EDLSU general meeting: East Dimapur Lotha Student’s Union (EDLSU) has convened general meeting on August 25 at 3 p.m. at Naharbari village council hall, Dimapur. All the students under the jurisdiction of East Dimapur have been asked to attend the meeting.
PHH cardholders of Purana Bazar informed: PHH card holders under Purana Bazar have been informed that the rice will be distributed on August 22 from 7 am to 1 pm at council hall. All the cardholders have been asked to collect their respective quota at the council hall.
DIC Kohima PMEGP interview preponed: District industries centre (DIC) Kohima interview for selection of PMEGP beneficiaries during 2018-19 for DIC, KVIC and NKVIB under Kohima district to be conducted by the district level task force committee (DLTFC) had been preponed to August 28 for DIC & KVIC applicants and August 29-30 for NKVIB applicants due to unavoidable circumstances. The time and venue remain unchanged.
Peren PMEGP applicants: General manager District Industries Centre Peren has informed all PMEGP applicants 2018-19 under KVIC, NKVIB and CAC that scrutiny and interview will be conducted on August 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the DC’s conference hall, New hq, Peren. No separate calling letter will be issued. Applicants have been informed to produce all requisite documents in original during the interview.
Charity event for the differently abled: Metanoia club in collaboration with Tabitha Enabling Academy Charity will be organizing an event for the differently abled to create awareness on the issue of disability and also to help student on August 25 at 3 pm at RCEMPA Jotsoma.
NSCN (R) recovers two-wheeler: NSCN (R) has recovered a two-wheeler (Platina bike) with (Chassis No. MD2A76AZOFRA1922810) and (Engine No. PF521022MF2). NSCN (R) through its MIP has asked the rightful owner to collect/claim the same by producing genuine/relevant documents from the office of the supervisor, UT1 within seven days.
