National Health Mission (NHM) has informed the general public that the Mission, in collaboration with Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Imphal, will be organising a free heart disease detection camp on September 29 at District Hospital Dimapur (DHD) for children between 0 to 18 years of age.
In a press release, NHM mission director said that children found to be suffering from heart diseases will be given financial assistance as per the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) model during treatment and management at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Imphal.
An interventional cardiologist and a cardiac surgeon will be available for consultation. All interested citizens have been requested to avail of the opportunity.
