Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya has extended greetings to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja.
In a message, Acharya stated that Vishwakarma was known as the divine engineer and main architect of the universe and worshipped by the engineering community and professionals alike.
He explained that workforce in offices and workshops worshipped their instruments and tools used in their profession in front of Lord Vishwakarma, which was known as Vishwakarma Puja.
Celebrated in the month of September by all artists, weavers, craftsman and industrial houses, the day is also observed on Kanya Sankranti Day, which followed the Ganesh Chaturthi, he added.
The governor hoped that Vishwakarma Puja would inspire all to work for the unity and well-being of the country and strengthen moral foundation of the society.
