
Drawing attention to the highway extortion taking place between Peducha and Tsiesema jurisdiction (NH-2 By-pass road), the Tsiesema Village Youth Organization (TVYO) stated that such action would not be tolerated in the near future.
A press release from TVYO president Zhavilhou Yhor has condemned such extortion like the September 13 case, wherein some miscreants had extorted money from a truck driver in broad day light under its jurisdiction, TVYO further appealed the concerned authority to punish the culprit under the law.
TVYO also informed the re-affirmation of the village council and youth organization’s resolution that hunting, fishing, jungle burning, collections of firewood and exploiting of forest flora & fauna was totally restricted and prohibition of disposing garbage, waste material etc.
Tsiesema Village Youth Organization president Zhavilhou Yhor and president Tsiesema Basa Village Youth Organization (TBVYO) Kekhrie –o Khro have informed that it would take its own action under provision of the act against defaulters with a penalty fine of Rs. 5,000/- or more.
