
The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) organized a send-off program, on October 8, for Justice L.S. Jamir, Judge Gauhati High Court and executive chairman Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA), on his transfer to Manipur High Court as Judge No. 2.
A press release from NSLSA stated that Justice Jamir urged the NSLSA with the panel lawyers and para legal volunteers to continue reaching out to the downtrodden sections of society. He thanked the member secretary and the team of NSLSA for carrying forward the various activities and further promised his continued support for the NSLSA.
Delivering acknowledgements, Mezivolu T. Therieh, member secretary NSLSA highlighted some of the achievements and progress made by the NSLSA under the leadership of Justice Jamir. She described him as a person with impeccable qualities and one who maintains transparency and gives the freedom to act with trust and confidence.
Delivering a short speech, Akumla Longchari state coordinator NSLSA said that many milestones have been achieved by the legal services authority under his tenure as the executive chairman.
Neiko Kanuo, registrar Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench also delivered a voluntary speech. Khesheli Chishi, principal district and session judge Kohima and chairperson Kohima DLSA pronounced the benediction.
Members from the registry Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, NSLSA and Kohima District Legal Services Authority attended the program.
