The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at deputy commissioner conference hall, Wokha on October 9, where vice chairman and DC, Wokha Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, chaired the meeting.
According to a DIPR report, the chairman welcomed four new members, namely, sr. treasury officer Thungalee Khuvung, DPO (ICDS) Aoakum Longchar, district evaluation officer Nungsangtula and district transport officer Tatongtemsu.
While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the board after examining the detailed estimates for construction of Lotsu EAC office building and project estimate for water supply at middle range, approved the proposal’s onward submission for recommendation.
In regard to registration of Tsori Old Land Owners Union and Fishery Pond Farmer’s Society, the board decided to forward their application to the concerned administrative officer and Fishery department for verification before approval by DPDB.
The Wokha district website was also launched by the vice chairman DPDB Wokha during the meeting. The website was developed by NIC Wokha in collaboration with district administration Wokha. One can access the website at https://wokha.nic.in.
