LOU/DHEP election of president: As per the constitution, election commissioner LOU/DHEP, Doyang, Yanthungo Kikon has informed all concerned that the election of a president LOU/DHEP will be held on November 29 at NRC hall Doyang, Wokha. The intending candidate is to obtain nomination papers from the commission on the spot between 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Yung Aung-led NSCN(K) assigns MIP incharge: Yung Aung-led NSCN(K) through the office of the president has assigned ‘maj’ Joseph Lamkang, Naga Army as MIP in-charge with immediate effect from September 28.
LEHK new team of office bearers: Lotha Eloe Hoho Kohima has inducted its new team of office bearers for the term 2018-2021 led by Nzanbeni T. Kithan as president, Mhabeni Kikon as general secretary, and Nyanbeni M Patton as treasurer and other executive members. The official change of guard was held November 10 at AMK building Kohima.
DMC informs traders: The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), in a press release by its administrator Moa Sangtam, has informed traders, business establishments and shop keepers under its jurisdiction that renewal of trade license for 2019 will commence from December 1. Traders have been directed to renew their trade licences.
NDMSA annual general meeting: The Nagaland Directorate Ministerial Service Association (NDMSA) has informed its members to attend the annual general meeting it has convened for November 28 at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima below Secretariat Office. The registrar/superintendent of the concerned directorates have been requested to apprise their respective HODs and directorate representatives are requested to bring membership fee of 100 rupees per member for the year.
KMC appeals to all wards: Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) administrator, Kovi Meyase, in reference to the appeal letter dated October 22 in regard to face-lift of Kohima city, has appealed to all wards, house/building owners and the business community in general to beautify their respective wards, shops, buildings/houses on or before November 30.
