Medical team from Phek district conducted a free medical camp under “Op Sadbhavana” at Wuzu village under Meluri block on December 16.
A press release by district media officer Phek, Kutolu Nakro stated that the main aim of the medical camp was to provide medical assistance to remote village.
Altogether 234 patients were examined and provided medical assistance and free medicines by a medical team consisting of Epidemiologist Phek, Dr. Limatoshi Imchen, surgeon DH Phek, Dr.Shevosa Vese along with medical officers of Assam Rifles (Phek battalion).
Basic knowledge on epidemic disease was also imparted during the camp.
The medical team also visited the house of elderly people who could not attend the camp because of health issue.
