The ruling- Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has welcomed the dismissal of a petition filed by one Zeneisilie Ate Loucii that sought dismissal of its registration as a political party by Election Commission of India (ECI).
In a communiqué issued by its media & communication committee, NDPP while appreciating the decision of EC for upholding the sanctity of the legal system of India, termed the judgement as “unbiased and fair”.
NDPP said it was humbled by the ECI order and thanked Almighty God for the “just decision”.
NDPP reiterated that from the very beginning it had maintained that it had done no wrong and that the complaint held no ground.
Stressing that it was a people-centric party, committed to tirelessly working for welfare of the people, NDPP asserted that it never had and never would mislead the people with rhetoric and false claims.
“We firmly believe and adhere to our motto ‘Facta Non Verba’ and will continue to work on the strength of the words…” it added.
