Over two months after the murder of a prominent citizen, late Kevi Zakiesato, who was found dead on December 18, 2018 at the premises of his private residence in Dimapur, the Khonoma Ruffuno Nagaland (KRN) has urged the responsible authority to expedite the investigation.
In a press release, KRN general secretary Asilie Rürhia, said it was “extremely baffled by the mystery” that surrounds the cold blood murder and demanded that perpetrators be booked. Despite the lapse of two months, KRN said the investigation agency was yet to make any tangible breakthrough or complete its task conclusively. Stating that it was not undermining the efficiency and competency of the concerned authority, KRN appealed for justice to be delivered, without fear and or favour, to the departed soul and his loved one at the earliest.
