Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA) on Saturday was hopeful that both Government of India and NSCN (I-M) would expedite the talks and that both the parties would be sincere to arrive at a solution at the earliest.
In a press note, DDGBA president Khehovi V. Chophi and secretary publicity & information, R. Changkum stated that a delegation led by DDGBA president and office bearers and executive members paid a courtesy visit to NSCN (I-M) yaruiwo/president, Qhehezu Tuccu at CHQ Hebron Saturday and conveyed their concern.
The team also congratulated Tuccu on being appointed the top position of the NSCN (I-M) leadership and pledged optimism that under his leadership “a final political solution” can be hammered out to the long pending protracted Naga issue.
DDGBA said that the delegation’s call for an “early political solution” was well received and reciprocated in a positive re-enforcement by the NSCN (I-M) leadership.
