In a bid to restrict the use of plastic within the capital and to propagate clean election practices, the Kohima Municipal Council along with the Music Task Force (YR&S department), under the banner ‘No to plastic! Yes to clean election!’ has organized a musical concert campaign to spread awareness about the issue.
Choir groups from various Churches will be performing in 19 wards under Kohima starting from March 20 to April 5. All of the concerts have been scheduled to begin from 5 p.m. except for PWD (Ward 11), where the concert will begin from 10 a.m. (NPN)
