Stella Higher Secondary School (SHSS), Kohima held a felicitation programme for their students who had passed out in the HSLC and HSSLC 2019 at the conference hall on May 4.
Nekhre Resuh who ranked in Top17 HSLC gave a short speech on how he had prepared his exam with full concentration and prayed to God before he studied.
Citation certificate, a memento alongwith with cash award was given to him by the school proprietor T. Krose.
A speech of encouragement and thanksgiving was delivered by J. Krose, founder of the school who gave all glory to God for the continued blessings since the inception of the school. She recalled on how she had started the school with 62 students in Class A and B along with 2 Khasi teachers. She reminded the students to always put Proverbs 1:7 in their heart and walk with it. She said, “I was the headmistress, sweeper, chowkidar” and still managed to nurture the school from a humble beginning till its present 32nd year under the motto, “Towards Perfection.”
