Monthly departmental coordination meeting of Bhandari sub-division was held at the conference hall of ADC, Bhandari on June 12.
According to DIPR report, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang welcomed new members and reviewed the last meeting minutes. Status of the ongoing construction of traffic island which is being sponsored by the Officers Forum (OF), Bhandari, was highlighted by the construction committee. The house resolved to declare all educational institutions at Bhandari town tobacco free and decided that any activities of selling or purchase of tobacco products will be banned within the vicinity of the institutions. The members further deliberated on the genuine need of a sub-fire station and fire extinguisher equipment at Bhandari.
Renovation and refurnishing of the conference hall of ADC, Bhandari was also discussed for approval. Highlighting on the activities of the line departments, Power and PHE departments stated that they were functioning well and the Medical department also informed the house that under the “Ayushman Bharat” programme, the medical department will cover all the villages under Bhandari sub-division to provide health care.
CDPO, Bhandari and BM SBI, Bhandari were entrusted to give powerpoint presentation to highlight the activities of their departments in the next coordination meeting.
