Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) and Khaghaboto Area Youth Front (KAYF) Dimapur have strongly condemned the brutal murder of Helen Zhimo, wife of Phuishe Zhimomi of Phuhoto village on June 11 opposite Zoological Park, Dimapur.
WSTH: Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) in a condemnation by WSTH president Jolly Zhimomi stated that no matter what the issue or situation may be murder was not the solution of it. WSTH therefore demands the competent authority to initiate a transparent investigation in the murder and provide justice to the deceased and her family.
WSTH also stated that, when the world was fighting for equal rights and justice for women such incidents does not justify the act. WSTH also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
KAYF: Khaghaboto Area Youth Front (KAYF) Dimapur in a condemnation note by president, Kivito Awomi and secretary, Ngukavi Ayemi, said such inhuman act towards women was intolerable and unacceptable in a civilised society. KAYF has appealed the concern authority to book the culprit at the earlies and ward befitting punishment. Meanwhile, KAYF has conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed to rest in eternal peace.
