Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation, Kaito Aye on July 9 inaugurated the office of Sub-Registrar Cooperative Societies (SRCS) at Pfutsero.
According to DIPR, the minister in his inaugural speech, appealed to the public and department officials to take care of the office for proper functioning.
He also requested the gathering to make proper use of this opportunity adding that the Pfutsero unit has the highest registered 700 cooperative societies in the state.
Commissioner and secretary cooperation, L. Akato Sema and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Wepe Ritsealso also spoke in the function. The programme was attended by several government officials, prominent public leaders from Kohima, Phek and Pfutsero town, cooperative societies and VDB secretaries.
