Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) in a representation has appealed to the director of School Education to cancel the redeployment order (No. DSE/ESTT/UPGRADATION/1-125-2017/589) dated June 24, 2019.
In a press statement ZSUN president, Dithuibo Newmai and vice president, Sangwangbou Shingbengmai expressed dismay and anguished on the redeployment order and requested the director of DoSE to immediately cancel the above mentioned order.
It stated that the union and its federating units in the past have been voicing against the acute shortage of teachers under the establishment of SDEO and DEO Peren especially Math and Science teachers.
In this regard, the union has requested the competent authority to take appropriate measures within three months duration. ZSUN expected that the department will take stock of the situation and address the representation with top most priority.
