
All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) celebrated its 40th foundation day-cum-degree toppers felicitation on August 2 at AMK building.
Guest speaker Registrar, Nagaland University Abemo Odyuo congratulated all the students and advised them to work with sincerity, commitment and hard work.
NSF president Ninoto Awomi stressed on corruption in Nagaland, errors in the society and encouraged the students to broaden their minds.
Tribunal general, ANCSU Kuzoto Lohe, who also spoke in the programme said that ANCSU was founded in the year 1979 with likeminded and visionary leaders with an aim to work for the welfare of the College students and to strengthen the hand of NSF. On the occasion, 50 toppers were felicitated. In 2018, ANCSU felicitated 17 Nagaland University toppers, eight State Council of Technical Education toppers and 28 autonomous college toppers.
On the occasion, ANCSU announced setting up Academic Excellent Award starting form 2020.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation by CBCMHK David Chüzho, presidential address by Katho P. Awomi.
