District Education Office (DEO), Kohima bade farewell to its retiring District Education Officer, Kohima Y. Mary Zhimomi at a function held at the Conference Hall of the District Education Office, Kohima on August 30.
Y. Mary Zhimomi took over the charge as DEO, Kohima in October 2018 and completed 35 years on August 31.
Speaking at the farewell programme, Y. Mary encouraged the staff to be sincere, committed and regular in their assigned duties.
Speeches on behalf of the staff were delivered by senior HA, Rüükhono Rafela, supervisor (AE) Hillo Khing and ADC(SSA) Thongsenlo Kath.
Other officers, who spoke in the programme included senior SDEO, Kohima Dojü Khate; deputy director Chipeni Merry; assistant director, Kepelhouto Chüsi and headmistress, Kevitsiano Zao.
