Naga Student Forum Mangaluru (NSFM), observed its 12th Fresher’s meet on September 1 at NITTE (deemed university) Deralakatte Mangaluru, with vice chancellor, NITTE, Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, as chief guest.
A press release from NSFM, stated that Kumar shared about his road trip experiences and education system during his visit to Nagaland, and advised the students to be ambassador of one’s own community. He also urged the students that whatever they learnt through education should be translated into action and also appealed them to go back and serve people back home after education.
Welcome address was delivered by vice president, NSFM, Akumtoshi T Jamir, while president, NSFM, Guangsinlung, projected a bird’s view of the forum.
Speech on behalf of the fresher’s was delivered by Takoyangba Lemtur and Daikho, on behalf of old students.
Ame Nangbo K and Imkumnaro Kichu were named as the Mr and Miss Freshers of NSFM 2019.
