A farewell programme was organised in honour of outgoing deputy commissioner Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan on November 5.
DC while delivering his farewell speech said that whatever little was done during his stay at Mokokchung was only because of team work contribution from all quarters for which he thanked all heads of officers, subordinates administrative officers, NGOs and publics of Mokokchung in general.
He also said during his tenure one election was conducted smoothly which was possible because of the co-operation from all sections of society and the general public.
He further appealed all to extend the same support to the new DC. ADC Hq, ADC Mangkolemba, DB, staff, Ao Senden, All ward Union, DPDB who spoke during the farewell function expressed appreciation to the outgoing DC for all his initiatives and good work in the district during his tenure.
