
NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of four of its members during December 2019 and January 2020.
A condolence from NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that the four members were late K. Atalu Chungho executive member, steering committee, NSCN from Akheywo village under Pochury region who passed away on December 25. He enrolled in the Naga national service on March 28, 1994; Direijimbe Disuang, leacy of Asalu region, GPRN who passed away on December 26. After having served in the NNC, he joined NSCN in 2017; Hotoshe Aye, leacy of Union Territory (UT), GPRN who passed away on December 31, 2019. He enrolled in the Naga national service on January 2, 2009 and Loyibeni Lotha, tatar, GPRN from Yikhum village under Lotha region on January 1, 2020. She enrolled in the Naga national service on March 13, 2006.
NSCN (I-M) stated that all of them served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until their demise and the void created by their demise would be difficult to fill in. For their selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and their sacrifices ever be cherished by all. GPRN conveys its deep condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty God to grant the departed souls eternal peace and rest.
