Patkai Christian College organises semester topper award

Patkai Christian College (PCC) organised “semester topper award ceremony” on February 2 at Bundrock auditorium.

A press release from PCC mass communication stated that, Husazu Epao, principal, PCC advised the students to be the beacons of light in the society while stating that the ceremony was a platform for students to realize their potential and do better.
Angel Sonari, vice principal, PCC congratulated the achievers and called upon the students to make Patkai proud in future. Rev. Vichukho Ngukha who read the scripture also offered prayers before the ceremony began.
Drawing inspiration from the life of Nehemiah who rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem, Samuel, controller of examination (COE), PCC, AG said that in the present day, politics, socio-economic and many other areas needed rebuilding and that rebuilding was possible only with quality education. 
Dr Vivee Peseyie, dean music department, Dr Thefuvilie Pieru, dean of science department, and Dr Renchumi K Kuotsu, dean of arts and commerce distributed the awards and around 16 students from bachelor of music, 5 students from master of science, 3 from master of arts, 49 students from bachelor of science, 54 from bachelor of arts, 5 students from bachelor of computer applications, and 3 students from multimedia and mass communication were felicitated on the day. 
Altogether 135 students were conferred with the award. Ceremony was attended by all faculty, students and staff of the college.
