Block mission management unit (BMMU) Kuhuboto conducted financial inclusion mela for Kuhuboto block self-help groups (SHGs) and village-level organisations (VLOs) at two clusters, Hevishe and S. Hotovi villages.
A press release from BMMU Kuhuboto stated that, resource persons for the programme were Mairing Senayung, business coordinator, Central Bank of India Dimapur branch and Khehoto Assumi, DGM, NStCB, NSA branch Dimapur and guest of honour for the programme was M. Yimok phom, ADPM, DMMU Dimapur. Speaking during the programme, M. Yimok phom, ADPM, DMMU Dimapur highlighted the various activities of NSRLM and the sub-schemes of Nagaland state rural livelihood mission (NSRLM). She also stressed on the importance of branding and packaging of their products and she encouraged the women folks to insure themselves and their families by enrolling into various social security schemes made available by the banks.
Meanwhile, highlights of FI mela was also delivered by Y. Agnes Ezung, DC-FI, DMMU, Dimapur, stressing on the importance of bank particulars and also encouraged them to think big and avail bank loans.
