PGC conducts extempore speech competition

 DIMAPUR: Peren Government College (PGC) legal literacy cell organised extempore speech competition on February 21 at Peren Government College auditorium, sponsored by legal literacy club Peren district. 

A press release from Peren Government College media cell convenor stated that, in the competition the first position was bagged by Samyizeule 4th semester, second prize by Kenninglule 6th semester and third prize by Kelilube of 2nd semester. 

The winners of the competition were awarded with cash along with the certificates. 

In the session, Inchang Heikha, panel lawyer, highlighted the concept and importance of legal literacy and Indeu Heikha declared the results of the competition. The programme was followed by prize distribution. 

Altogether, nine students took part in the competition. 

Earlier, programme was chaired by Igong N. Ipuing, Peren Government College assistant professor and teacher in-charge of legal literacy club of the college.
